The Head Start and Child Development Center located at Mayville State University serves children and families in the counties of Traill, Steele, Griggs, and Nelson through the Combination Programming Option; 2 home visits per month and 2 center days at the Aneta site, and Center Base Option; Monday through Friday, full day, bussing in some locations, children integrated with special need and childcare, locations in Mayville and Hillsboro.

The Mayville State University Child Development Programs believe and support the parent as the child's first and foremost caregiver and teacher. Collaboration and cooperation with families and community stakeholders are key in providing the highest quality of services.
