Head Start is a free preschool program for children whose parents meet the federal income guidelines. Children ages 3 and 4 receive comprehensive services in the areas of health, education, social services, and parent involvement. Head Start consists of two program options: Home Base and Center Base. The Center Base option operates 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 5 days per week.
