Right to Request Alternative Provider

If a woman objects to the services given by the provider, the woman has the right to go to another approved provider.

Providers May Not Discriminate

An approved provider may not discriminate against a client on the basis of religion, a religious belief, a refusal to hold a religious belief, or a refusal to actively participate in a religious practice.

Non-Discrimination in Federally Assisted Program

The N.D. Department of Human Services makes available all services and assistance without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, gender, disability, marital status, or status with respect to public assistance, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Age Discrimination Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the North Dakota Human Rights Act.
