Aging Services: West Central Human Service Center
The Regional Aging Services Program is a focal point for accessing services for older people in Region VII as follows:
- Administration and monitoring of Older Americans Act funded programs:
- Congregate and home-delivered meals
- Transportation
- Outreach
- Health maintenance services
- Vulnerable adult protective services (receive reports regarding abuse, neglect/self-neglect, or exploitation of a "vulnerable adult")
- Advocacy, education, training, information, and referral
- Licensing of adult foster care providers
- Family Caregiver Support services (Supportive services provided to caregivers of persons older than age 60 or to grandparents relative caregivers who are older than age 60 and who provide care for children younger than 18)
