County Program Supervision: South Central Human Service Center
The North Dakota Department of Human Services is responsible for ensuring that local county social service agencies comply with state and federal policies while providing human services to the public.
At South Central Human Service Center, a regional representative of county social services supervises the following services:
- Child abuse and neglect investigations
- Permanency planning for children in foster care and other residential facilities
- Child and adult foster care and day care services
- Family Preservation Services
- Licensing of Foster Homes and Day Care
