Q. How long will it be before someone sees me?
A. On average, your initial (intake) appointment will be scheduled within seven working days. The wait time may be longer for a specialty service. Lake Region Human Service Center responds immediately to emergency situations and responds to crisis situations the same day.
Q. Is the information I share confidential?
A. Lake Region Human Service Center will not release any personal information about you (either verbal or written) without your permission except when required to do so by law.
Q. What will it cost me to receive services?
A. Charges are based on family income and family size. When an individual has health insurance, Lake Region Human Service Center will bill his or her insurance company. Any unpaid balance may be the responsibility of the individual. No one is denied service because of inability to pay. Some services are offered at no charge.
