Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) - New Enhancements for Child Support Customers!

Beginning in September 2003, child support customers are able to access additional payment information via our interactive voice response telephone system (IVR). In order for you to access the information, you will need an authorization code. The first time you call the IVR system, you will be required to get this authorization code. This IVR will ask you for your Social Security Number and will verify this with the Child Support Computer system. Once this is verified, an authorization code will be mailed to your mailing address that is contained in the Child Support computer system. This is being done to assure that the system has the security it needs for the protection of your information. You will not be able to access your information until you receive this code. Once you have received this code in the mail, you will need to use the code each time you access your information in the future.

Previously, people were able to call the IVR, punch in their social security number and receive last payment information only. This information will no longer be available without an authorization code. The enhancements to the IVR system will enable you to not only hear last payment information but also the total current monthly information, current year-to-date and previous year payment history on all of your cases.
