Money Follows the Person Grant Stakeholder Meeting
Background:
The federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services awarded North Dakota an $8.9 million grant in May 2007 to help move eligible individuals from institutions to community settings over the next five years. Stakeholder participation is vital to successful grant implementation. The Stakeholder Committee: participates in the design of North Dakota¿s implementation plan; provides ongoing review and/or advice on state policy changes to achieve rebalancing; monitors implementation progress; monitors achievement of grant benchmarks; and suggests ways to improve implementation.
