The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
General Information
The Americans with Disabilities Act, or ADA, represents the most comprehensive federal legislation on disabilities since the Rehabilitation Act. The North Dakota Governor's office has assigned Rehabilitation Consulting & Services, or RCS, the leadership role for the on-going education and coordination of this important legislation within the state.
RCS serves as the primary resource for North Dakotans with questions regarding the ADA. RCS works to ensure that individuals with disabilities and employers understand their roles and responsibilities in the areas of employment, accessibility, and accommodations.
