Staff Changes at the Department of Emergency Services Posted on 9/22/2010
Bismarck, ND - The ND Department of Emergency Services announces several staff changes:
Joe Lies- Lies recently accepted the position of NE Regional Emergency Response Coordinator. Lies previously served as the SW Regional Emergency Response Coordinator.
William (Bill) Brown- Brown has been selected as the new SW Regional Emergency Response Coordinator. He will begin his duties in November. Brown has been with the Minot Police Department for thirty-one years and has served as captain for nine years.
Tom Doering- Doering has accepted the position of planning specialist. Previously, Doering was the program coordinator for the North Dakota Association of Counties' Homeland Security Training and Exercise Program.

The North Dakota Department of Emergency Services provides 24/7 emergency communications and resource coordination with more than 50 lead and support agencies, private enterprise, and voluntary organizations to assist local jurisdictions in disaster and emergency response activities. It administers federal disaster recovery programs and the Homeland Security Grant Program.
