Planning Guidance

As part of the 2006 FY Homeland Security grant, state and local jurisdictions are responsible for refining their sheltering and evacuation plans and ensuring their Local Emergency Operations Plans (LEOPs) are compliant with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) standards and are cross-walked with the National Response Plan (NRP). The following links provide planning guidance for local emergency managers as they work with agencies assigned responsibilities in their LEOPs.
