The Emergency Management office of Fargo and Cass County are hosting an ICS- 300 course in Fargo at the Fargo Public Safety Building that is located at 4630 15th Avenue North. The course will be held from 8:00 till 5:00 on February 20th and 21st. On February 22nd the course will be held from 8:00am till noon.

Course pre-requisites are ICS-100 and 200.

All State/Local/Tribal/Private sector and nongovernmental personnel at the mid-level management and higher levels should take ICS-300. These would include individuals serving as command staff, section chiefs, strike, team leaders, task force leaders, unit leaders, division/group supervisors, branch directors, and multi-agency coordination/emergency operations center staff. All state, local and private sector emergency management personnel should decide who within their organizations should take this training.
The course will include the following topic areas;
1. ICS staffing and organization to include reporting and working relationships and information flow.
2. Transfer of command.
3. Unified Command functions in a multi-jurdictional or multi-agency incident.
4. ICS forms.
5. Resource Management.
6. Interagency mission planning and procurement.

NDDES will reimburse qualified state, local, and tribal participants from outside the Fargo area for meals and hotel according to state rates and guidelines. There is no block of rooms being held for this event.
