Calendar of Events
The Ward County Emergency Management is hosting an ICS- 300 course in Minot at the Minot Rural fire Dept on January 15 & 16, 2012. The course will be held from 8:00 till 5:00 on Janaury 15, and from 8:00 till 5:00 on Janaury 16.
All State/Local/Tribal/Private sector and nongovernmental personnel at the mid-level management and higher levels should take ICS-300. These would include individuals serving as command staff, section chiefs, strike, team leaders, task force leaders, unit leaders, division/group supervisors, branch directors, and multi-agency coordination/emergency operations center staff. All state, local and private sector emergency management personnel should decide who within their organizations should take this training. The course will include the following topic areas; 1. ICS staffing and organization to include reporting and working relationships and information flow. 2. Transfer of command. 3. Unified Command functions in a multi-jurdictional or multi-agency incident. 4. ICS forms. 5. Resource Management. 6. Interagency mission planning and procurement

IS 100, 200, 700 and 800 are available on line through the Emergency Management Institute and are a prerequisite for the ICS 300 and 400.
