The Construction Technology program has been developed to assist students interested in the construction field to select an occupation that best suits their capabilities and interests. The program is a competency-based curriculum and is fundamental to a variety of careers in the construction industry. Students are provided with an apprenticeship core and preparation for advanced career-technical and professional education. The hands-on laboratory activity can include the construction of a garage, garden shed, or an entire home.

The mission of the statewide drafting curriculum committee is to develop a two year (720 hour) drafting curriculum based on industry standards. The curriculum will enable students to gain a working knowledge of drafting techniques, a working knowledge of computer-aided drafting software and hardware, and the use of drafting instruments. Architectural and/or mechanical drafting will be emphasized. Integrated into the curriculum will be applied math, applied communication, and work place readiness competencies so that the foundation skills of the students will be enhanced.
