Description
The Fundamentals of Java Programming provides a conceptual understanding of Object Oriented programming. The course will provide educators with the content and practice opportunities to successfully teach this course to students. It will provide the opportunities for participants to devleop problem-solving skills. The course will include the following topics:
- Variables and Constants
- Conditional Control Structures
- Loop Structures and Strings
- Top-down development
- Methods
- Classes and Object Oriented Devleopment
- Inheritance and Polymorphism
- Arrays
Successful completion of this course will provide the following:
- 2 semester hours of graduate credit will be available
- Meets the training requirements to add MIS03 course code 27125 as an endorsement to the participant's ND teaching license
