Description
This course is designed for Cisco Academy instructors who are teaching Discovery 1 & 2. The course will prepare an instructor to take The Cisco CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician) exam. This exam validates the skills required for entry-level network support positions, the starting point for many successful careers in networking. CCENT certification indicates a candidate's knowledge and skills required to successfully install, operate, and troubleshoot a small branch office network, including connecting to a WAN; basic security and wireless concepts; routing and switching fundamentals; the TCP/IP and OSI models; IP addressing; WAN technologies; operating and configuring IOS devices; configuring RIPv2, static and default routing; implementing NAT and DHCP; and configuring simple networks.
Successful completion of this course will provide the following:
- Vouchers for the CCENT Exam
- 1 semester hour of graduate credit will be available
