CompTIA A+ Exam Preparation

North Dakota educators teaching IT Essentials (MIS03 number 27219) are required to pass Comp TIA's A+ certification exams.

The three-day training will review concepts covered by CompTIA's 2006 test objectives for the following exams:

• CompTIA A+ Essentials which validates knowledge of basic computer hardware and operating systems.
• CompTIA A+ 220-602 is targeted for individuals who work or intend to work in a mobile or corporate technical environment.
• CompTIA A+ 220-603 is targeted for individuals who work or intend to work in a remote-based work environment.
• CompTIA A+ 220-604 is targeted for individuals who work or intend to work in settings where hardware related activities are emphasized.

Successful completion of the training will provide the following:

• 1 semester hour of graduate credit will be available
• 2 free vouchers for CompTIA's A+ exams
