Description
This course is designed for instructors who wish to offer a Web Design course to their students. The class will utilize curriculum developed by Microsoft. It is a complete, standards-based, single semester course on Web Design. The curriculum provides an extensive collection of creative teaching and learning materials that thoroughly span Web Design knowledge and skills and promote meaningful, real-world learning experiences. The modular design makes it adaptable to a wide variety of teaching scenarios. The curriculum includes learning experiences in:
- Basic HTML
- Modern Web features including Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and interactivity
- Web standards and accessibility
- Creation of Web media using Microsoft Expression Studio
- Planning, development, publishing, and evaluation of Web sites
Successful completion of this course will provide the following:
- Free curriculum
- Microsoft Expression Web 3
- 3 semester hours of graduate credit will be available
- Meets the training requirements to add MIS03 course code 27180 as an endorsement to the participant's ND teaching license
