Nurse Assistant
Nurse Assistant training provides classroom instruction and clinical practice to those preparing for employment as a certified nursing assistant in a skilled nursing facility, acute care, or home health care. A nurse assistant works under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse providing patient care such as baths, bedmaking, feeding, assisting in transfer and ambulation, and administering basic treatments. The student will be awarded a certificate of completion preparing them for the Certified Nurse Assistant exam.
