Phlebotomy Technician: Health Careers
Phlebotomy is the skill of drawing blood for diagnostic purposes. In addition, the phlebotomy technician is required to interpret physician’s orders, and use computers to enter patient demographics, sort and send reports. Students who successfully complete the one-year program will earn a certificate of completion and proficiency and be qualified to take a national certification exam.
