Call for Presentations
Proposals Due May 1, 2014

Conference “Concurrent Feature Workshops” will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 10:15 am to 4:15 pm. We are actively seeking presenters who are enthusiastic about education, innovation and sharing knowledge. If you are implementing innovative teaching strategies including items related to college and career readiness, the common core, project based learning, and technology; we invite you to submit a proposal to present a “Concurrent Feature Workshop.” These 45 minute workshops are intended to enhance skills and broaden perspectives of the participants and can be hands-on in nature. Some sessions may be considered for two workshop time blocks for a total of 105 minutes. This year we are also introducing roundtable sessions which are informal sessions where participants are literally seated around the table for a short presentation and discussion. The presenter has 20 minutes to present his/her material then participants move to another table. During one session slot, the presenter will give the presentation two times. No AV technology is available for roundtable sessions.

Concurrent Feature Workshops are selected on the basis of their relevance and contribution in the following areas:

Consideration for each selected session will be based on the topic content, instructor qualifications, and availability of facilities.
