Professional Development Conference

Call for Presentations - Presentation Submission
Proposals Due June 1, 2016


The 2016 CTE Professional Development Conference in Bismarck, North Dakota, August 8-10, 2016.

Concurrent Feature Workshops will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm.  We are actively seeking proposal submissions for the concurrent sessions.   These workshops are intended to enhance skills and broaden perspectives of the participants and can be hands-on in nature.  Presentation times will be 45 minutes in length.

8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

General Session II

  • ACTE National Representative
  • NDACTE Teacher of the Year Award and Administrator of the Year
  • Keynote Presentation
  • Networking Break
11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Lunch
1:00 - 2:45 p.m.

Concurrent Feature Workshops – 45 minute sessions

3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Program Area Meetings
5:30 p.m. NDACTE Executive Meeting
7:45 - 9:45 p.m. Riverboat Cruise


Concurrent Feature Workshops are selected on the basis of their relevance and contribution in the following areas:

Consideration for each selected session will be based on the topic content, instructor qualifications, and availability of facilities.

One honorarium is available for each non-commercial eligible presentation.  If there is more than one presenter in a session, the honorarium will be prepared for Presenter 1 as listed on the proposal form.  A 45-minute session will receive a $100 honorarium.  Presenters under contract to a school district will not be paid an honorarium since it would be classified as a double payment.
