Career Resource Network Workshops

Please register at least one week prior to the workshop(s).
  • When you submit your registration, a confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the form "Your form has been submitted successfully. Please print a copy of this page for your records."
  • You will also receive an e-mail confirming your registration within 1 hour of registering. If you do not receive these two items, you are NOT registered and we ask that you contact the CRN office ASAP and we will assist you.
  • There is no cost to attend workshops offered by the Career Resource Network.

Workshops being offered are:

  • RUReady.ND.gov Basics
  • Building Your Career Potential
  • Middle School: Preparing for the Future
  • Regional Career Professional In-Service
  • Establishing Balance in a School Counseling Program - On Site (limited availability)
The Workshop Evaluation is required for each workshop you attend if you intend to apply for professional development credit. We do appreciate feedback from all workshop participants. Please note that evaluations must be completed within two weeks after a workshop if you intend to apply for credit.
Reflection and Implementation Activity

The assignment is required for each workshop you attend if you intend to apply for professional development credit.

  • What is the Assignment? The assignment is to provide a detailed response to the following questions:

    • Reflections on New Learning:
      “What new concepts, strategies, etc. were most meaningful to you as a learner?”
    • Application of New Learning:
      Develop a plan for implementation of the new learning into the classroom/work situation.  This may include either a lesson plan or creation of a product to be used with students.
To submit assignment(s), visit the registration site. Log in with the e-mail address that you used to register for the workshops. You will be able to input and submit your assignment and you will receive a confirmation that your assignment has been submitted.
  • We advise that you complete the assignment as a word processing document, save the document and then copy and paste the text into the appropriate section on our registration and assignment site. If you have any trouble adding the assignment to your record, contact the CRN.
  • Assignments submitted in other formats (e-mail, attachments, mailed, etc.) will not be accepted without prior approval.
  • Please note that the assignment must be completed within two weeks after a workshop if you intend to apply for credit.

Professional Development Credit

One (1) professional development credit is available from the University of North Dakota (UND) for attending a combination of 15 hours of workshops.
  • The credit registration window will be open in the late April/early May 2019. Participants will be notified and provided instructions regarding credit registration when the information becomes available from the University of North Dakota in approximately March/April of 2019. The cost of the credit is $50 and payment will be made directly to UND at the time participants apply for the credit.
