SAVIN (Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification System)

CJIS has contracted with Appriss, Inc. to incorporate a Statewide Automated Victim Information Notification (SAVIN) system. The SAVIN system will interface and gather information from the courts, county jails, the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, law enforcement and the Office of the Attorney General. Offender status information will also be integrated with the CJIS Portal and exchanged statewide. As a result of this information sharing process, victims will be allowed to register to receive important offender status notification information. Along with the notification services Appriss, Inc. will also provide a 24 hour call center and website service (VINELink).

The six modules SAVIN will encompass are:

• ND SAVIN Protection Orders
• ND SAVIN Courts
• VINE Data Feed
