The CJIS Hub Portal is the heart of the criminal justice information sharing system. The system allows authorized criminal justice individuals to search information using a secure internet connection. Current data access includes Criminal History Records, Parole and Probation Information, Offender Registration, Concealed Weapons, CWIS, Motor Vehicle, Drivers License Records and Photo’s. In addition to search functionality, this system includes notification capabilities that facilitates the tracking of an individual or event at the preference of the criminal justice individuals. This is the foundation that future CJIS databases and functionality will be built upon.
If you are interested in accessing the CJIS Hub Portal a CJIS Authorization Application is required for CJIS Hub access.The CJIS Hub portal is available to all Law Enforcement Agencies. With this implementation, the CJIS Executive Committee and CJIS Board have set security measures necessary for access to be granted. The following security agreement is required for each agency and an individual user agreement is required by individuals requesting access.
- Security Agreement (35kb pdf) – each Agency needs to sign and return.
- User Agreement (212kb pdf) – each user needs to complete and return with 2 sets of fingerprints on an Applicant cards. (If you need cards call the FBI at 1-304-625-3983.)
All applicants will receive the standard Law Enforcement Background check (FBI, ND, CWIS & NCIC). This process will be repeated every 3 years. If any hit is made you will receive a letter stating that the user is denied access to the hub at this time. The CJIS Hub administrator will present the case before the CJIS Executive Committee.
