March 31 – April 1, 2016 Walter Hood, artist, and American landscape designer nonpareil, will give a public lecture in the Museum and meet with community stakeholders for lunch the following day. Having been raised in black North Carolina community, Hood states that public space should be multitasking, respectful of the land, rooted in – and watered by- the community. Think about the history of civilization.
We strengthen the creative capacity of North Dakota for all who live or visit here: honoring our cultural traditions, empowering excellence and innovation, inspiring arts and culture opportunities for all.
