Bismarck, N.D. – The Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the ever-popular holiday concert, the next performance in the BMSO’s 40th anniversary season, "Light a Fire."
The celebration of the 2015-2016 season continues on Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 – 7:30 PM at the Belle Mehus with the annual holiday concert, "Roasting by an Open Fire: Your Holiday Favorites." Returning to Bismarck are famed rock concert violinist Aaron Meyer and his band mate, nationally renowned guitarist, Tim Ellis. This is the duo’s fourth appearance with the BMSO, a musical reunion performers and concertgoers alike have embraced as a community holiday tradition.
Dr. Beverly Everett, Music Director of the BMSO, understands how beloved this yearly performance has become for the symphony: "Aaron Meyer and Tim Ellis—what more is there to say? Two of our favorite artists return to Bismarck for our annual holiday concerts! Full of the best combination of fresh and familiar, you won't want to miss this evening of fun, heart warming live music!" Celebrate the beginning of the holidays with Aaron and Tim and their interpretation of traditional classics, along with contemporary music that demonstrates this duo’s unique talent for engaging audiences.
Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling (701) 258-8345, by visiting the BMSO office at 215 North 6th Street in Bismarck, or online at Bismarckmandansymphony.org.
