In the first category, readers will find traditions including quilting and American Indian pipes; in the next, gun engraving and wheelwrighting. Sport, Hobby, and Play includes dogsled and snowshoe making as well as Scandinavian figure carving. Finally, Ethiopian coiled baskets and Ojibway birchbark baskets and beadwork are two features in Decoration.
