Traditional Arts Apprenticeship

The Traditional Arts Apprenticeship program is designed to honor and encourage the preservation of North Dakota's diverse living traditions by providing grants that allow master traditional artists to pass their skills and knowledge to apprentices on a one-to-one basis over an extended period of time.

  • Maximum Grant: $2,000
  • Deadline Date: May 15, 2008 (postmark)

How to Apply:

  1. Thoroughly review the Traditional Arts Apprenticeship guidelines and general NDCA guidelines.
     
  2. Complete required application forms and other necessary paperwork. Online applications will be available for 2009 grant round.
     
  3. Mail the entire package by the postmark deadline date to:

    North Dakota Council on the Arts
    1600 East Century Avenue, Suite 6
    Bismarck, ND 58503
