The Minot State University Art Faculty Biennial Art Exhibit opens this evening, February 29, with a reception from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hartnett Hall Gallery (second floor). Artists exhibiting are: Susana Amundarain, Micah Bloom, Andrea Donovan, Bill Harbort, Wendy Kimble, Linda Olson, Doug Pfliger, Walter Piehl, Ryan Stander, and Avis Veikley.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. It will be on view through March 31. Parking in MSU lots is unrestricted after 4:30 p.m.
Northwest Art Center Lecture Series presents a special preview film screening – A Bold Peace. This is a documented film on the demilitarization of Costa Rica. Written, directed, and produced by Matthew Eddy, MSU Division of Social Science. Stop-motion animation sequences by Micah Bloom, MSU Art Department.

The James Memorial Art Center is proud to present “Love in Many languages” an On Stage at The James event, Sunday February 14 th 3-4 pm in the Center Stage Room. The James Memorial Art Center is proud to present the “Williston State College Student Art Show” February 5-29. A reception for the artists will be held Friday February 5th from 7-9 pm at the James. The reception is free and open to the public. The James Memorial Art Center is located at 621 First Avenue Westin Williston.
