Northwest Art Center Lecture Series - A Bold Peace

Northwest Art Center Lecture Series presents a special preview film screening – A Bold Peace.  This is a documented film on the demilitarization of Costa Rica.  Written, directed, and produced by Matthew Eddy, MSU Division of Social Science.  Stop-motion animation sequences by Micah Bloom, MSU Art Department.

On Stage at the James“Love in Many Languages”

The James Memorial Art Center is proud to present “Love in Many languages” an On Stage at The James event, Sunday February 14 th 3-4 pm in the Center Stage Room. Williston State College Student Art Show

 The James Memorial Art Center is proud to present the “Williston State College Student Art Show” February 5-29.  A reception for the artists will be held Friday February 5th from 7-9 pm at the James.  The reception is free and open to the public.  The James Memorial Art Center is located at 621 First Avenue Westin Williston. Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday 9 am- 2p m and Friday 1:00 pm-5:00 pm, and 1:00–5:00 pm on Sunday.  There is no admission charge.  For further information, please contact the James at 701-774-3601.

10th Annual Soup’s On Event

The 10 th annual Soup’s On will be held at the James Memorial Art Center (621 1st Ave West) on January 14 th from 11 am -2 pm. Suggested donation is $10.00. There will be 5 to 6 different kinds of soup served including chili, lasagna, and chicken tortilla plus breads, drinks and desserts. Our desserts are not just bars or cookies!

Monies raised will be used for continued updating of the Art Center and to help fund future exhibits and art education classes.

We welcome everyone in the community to participate!
