Still life oil paintings of Burlington artist Donna Watts will be featured in the Northwest Art Center’s Hartnett Hall Gallery June 16 through July 15, 2016. “Inspired by Show” includes 40 works created using “old methods and traditional Old Masters still life subjects, but in a modern interpretation of style,” according to Watts.

Minot State University percussionists will present their Spring Concert Monday, May 2, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall, Minot State University. The program will feature selections by the Percussion Ensemble, Marimba Ensemble, and soloists, including the world premiere of a glockenspiel solo composed by Minot Symphony Orchestra percussionist Eric Rodis. The ensembles are under the direction of MSU Percussion Instructor Avis Veikley. The program is free and open to the public. Parking in campus lots is unrestricted after 5 p.m.
