The Northwest Art Center will host a public reception for Calgary, Alberta painter Mali Vargas Thursday, December 3 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gordon B. Olson Library Gallery, Minot State University. An exhibit of Vargas’ acrylic paintings, “Fluid Nature,” has been on exhibit at the library gallery since November 4; the show closes following the reception.

Missouri Valley Gold Exhibit Greg Walter


The James Memorial Art Center is proud to present an exhibition by Greg Walter titled "Missouri Valley Gold: Landscapes of the Missouri River Watershed". This exhibition will be open November 10-December 10, 2015. "My most recent series of paintings explores the beauty and variety of landscape found in the Missouri River Valley. The diversity of this landscape in which I live is profound, and I believe that a landscape artist such as myself could spend a lifetime exploring its subtleties without growing bored with it".

The James Memorial Art Center is pleased to announce Warm-up After Light-up 2015! Our wintery wonderland is a great way to get out of the cold after a day of celebrating a Williston community tradition

Join us at the James after the parade to enjoy the Williston Strings, homemade goodies, hot chocolate, and even get your picture taken with Santa!

The event starts right after the lighting of Harmon Park, and is a great way to enjoy an evening of festivities and holiday joy!
