The Grand Cities Children's Choir is a children's choral organization offering young people the experience of musical excellence and artistry. Over 200 singers, in grades 3-9, will perform a variety of music at the opening concert of their 14th Concert Season! Admission is Free & Open to the Public at Grand Forks Central High School. At the most basic level-and beyond attempting to link the "formal" language of abstraction with the folk art of jianzhi (paper-cut)-I also tinker with subtle, symbolic implications and metaphors that connect the past and the present, east and west, philosophy and religion. Join us on Friday, November 13, for the second concert in the NDMOA Downtown! series at the Empire Arts Center, downtown Grand Forks. This new series features nationally touring bands from across the US and Canada. Between October - March the Museum will book between four and six concerts, depending on tour schedules.
