This Family Day we are going to be making art inspired by the fall season and Thanksgiving. Drop in or stay the entire time. There is no admission, although donations to cover materials are always welcome. Free Parking is available, compliments of the Museum.
On November 16th, 2015 Anthony will be hosting his Bachelor of Arts Exhibit at the Hughes Fine Arts Gallery at the University of North Dakota. His exhibit will include themes regarding life and mortality with multiple mediums (E.g. Film, Phoography, and 3 Dimensional objects). Updates, including photographs and media leaks of the exhibit will continue until the opening. This event is free and open to the public. Beverages and snacks will available. Missing the reception?
Join us for our second Family Day of the season on Saturday, November 21st from 9:00 am to 11:00 am as we celebrate the season and Empire Theatre Company's upcoming production, Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Children of all ages are invited to the Empire for holiday crafts, games, storytime and a few surprise guests!
Northern Valley Youth Orchestras presents two concert events in late November to begin its 5th season, themed "Something Old, Something New." Second event on November 30 at 7 pm, North Dakota Museum of Art : Chamber music concert featuring students in the Crescendo program, performing a variety of works for small ensemble featuring strings, flute and piano.
Northern Valley Youth Orchestras presents two concert events in late November to begin its 5th season, themed "Something Old, Something New." The first event will be on November 21 at 3 pm, Grand Forks Central Auditorium: orchestra concert featuring 3 student orchestras comprised of student string, wind, brass and percussion performers aged 9 to 21; chamber music selections prior to the concert and a reception following. Admission: $5 minimum donation from the general public; 12 and under are admitted free of charge.
