FM Choral Artists present a global journey with “Around the World in 80 Minutes” concert
The ensemble will transport listeners to Estonia, Korea, Argentina, the British Isles, Australia, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Russia and Norway, before returning home to the Red River Valley. Of special note, the Choral Artists will be exploring Aboriginal overtone singing in Sarah Hopkins’s “Past Life Melodies.”
The North Dakota Human Rights Film Festival has provided submission scholarships to human rights and social justice filmmakers from 15 different countries. “We’re proud to offer submission scholarships to filmmakers and artist experiencing financial hardships,” said Festival Chair Sean Coffman. “The festival is a forum for ideas and topics, and we firmly believe that finances shouldn’t hinder potential conversations from taking place.”
