Opera virtuoso and University of North Dakota graduate, Tammy Hensrud returns to Bismarck for a beautiful evening of Strauss’ songs. The BMSO will conquer Richard Strauss’ epic tone poem Don Juan, and take on music from the “Waltz King” Johann Strauss, Jr.
The annual Crafters Bee and Social will be held at the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site located at 320 E. Ave. B in Bismarck on Saturday, Jan. 26, from noon to 4 p.m. Crafters and artists are invited to spend the afternoon working on their favorite projects and socializing. Beginners and the curious are welcome. Coffee, tea, and treats will be served. Chairs and tables will be available. The mansion will also be open to the general public during this time for touring the site.
“Back to the Future” will build on our Time Travel theme, by taking concertgoers through cinematic scores that transcend time. From Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, Grease, and of course, Back to the Future. These memorable pieces will have you on the edge of your seat!
Second Annual North Dakota Human Rights Arts Festival
The Jury of the Second Annual North Dakota Human Rights Arts Festival is proud to announce the artists included in the traveling art exhibition opening in January in Fargo. The festival will include the work of thirty-five 2D, 3D and live performance artists from around the world, each exploring human rights, civil rights or social justice through their respective mediums.
