The 13th annual Farmers Market Day celebrates National Farmers Market Week! The market will be held near the steps on the south side of the state Capitol building in Bismarck.

Dakota Stage: Godspell

Led by the international hit "Day by Day," Godspell was the first major musical offering from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children of Eden). An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance, and love come vibrantly to life.

Romeo and Juliet

Capital Shakespeare: Romeo and Juliet

Capitol Shakespeare Traveling Troupe features students ages 12-18. The play is presented with simplistic sets and technical elements to focus the audience attention on the words of William Shakespeare and will include some modern narrations to help audiences understand what is happening.

Community Barbeque

James Memorial Art Center: Community Barbeque 

James board members will provide and barbeque burgers and hot dogs for this free-will–donation fundraiser. Sides and deserts will be available, too.
Expect lawn games and the possibility of Williston-area artists’ work being on display at the BBQ. When you come, bring a lawn chair. All proceeds will fund the organization’s upcoming community art programs and James Memorial Library building preservation efforts.
