Dakota Stage Ltd. is proud to present The Canterbury Tales, a colorful collection of the boisterous, beloved characters of Chaucer! Conceived by a creative team of professional directors and designers, developed by advanced high school theatre students employing the crafts of voice, movement and character work and brought to life by a true collaboration of creativity and imagination, The Canterbury Tales will charm and challenge audiences with its universal and unmistakable history, humor and heart.
A free concert by pianist Albert Landsberger is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, at the Former Governors’ Mansion in Bismarck. Landsberger plays a mix of genres, including classical, jazz, blues, and folk, and is a long-time performer in the area.
A reception provided by the Society for the Preservation of the Former Governors’ Mansion will follow the performance. This event is free and open to the public.

Dickinson State University Mind’s Eye Art Gallery presents DSU Fine Arts Faculty Art Show. May 16 to May 20, 2016. This event is free and open to the public. The free lecture series, “A Vision of the Village: The Double Ditch Cyclorama,” featuring presentations about the large Double Ditch painting (cyclorama) on exhibit at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum, continues on Saturday, May 21, at 2 p.m.
