NDMEA is taking part in our first North Dakota Music Educators Advocacy Day!
The first NDMEA Advocacy Day will take place on February 22. The executive board will be giving a “state of the music education address” to a joint session of the House and Senate Education Boards at 10:15 AM in Coteau Room A as well as a sit down with Supt. Baesler later that day. There will be a special performance of the 2017 Governor Choir from Sheyenne High School in West Fargo under the direction of Tony Peterson at 12:30 in the Memorial Hall.
DylanFest West: A Celebration of the Music of Bob Dylan
Regional musicians to honor legendary folk singer at ND Heritage Center
Fargo production company, Prairie Airwaves, announces a special tribute show honoring iconic American singer-songwriter, Bob Dylan. DylanFest West will take place live at the North Dakota State Heritage Center’s Russell Reid Auditorium at 2 pm, Saturday, February 25th with performances by some of the region’s most popular musicians.
The Women Behind the Plow Photographic Exhibit provides a delightful and charming window into the lives of the “Women Behind the Plow.” Consisting of 18 acrylic panels, the exhibit panels range in size from 12-inches by 18-inches to the most common panel size of 30-inches by 20-inches.
