B.J. BuckleyB.J. Buckley is a poet and a writer who has been working in arts-in-schools programs throughout the Rocky Mountain west, the Dakotas, and Alaska for almost twenty years. Her residencies all emphasize the process of writing. She frequently incorporates other art forms, such as bookmaking, painting, and origami; and she makes an effort to introduce her students to the best work of writers in their region and in other cultures. She has extensive experience working with senior citizens, American Indian students, students whose first language is not English, and students with special needs.
