Artist in Residence: New Artist

Artists who want to participate in Artist in Residence program must be on the council's Arts in Education Roster. Applications may be reviewed concurrently with Artist in Residence: Sponsor applications.

Deadline Dates (postmark date)
 
  • April 1 (for residencies between July 1 and June 30 of the upcoming school year)
     
  • November 1 (for residencies between January 1 and June 30 of that school year)

How to Apply:

  1. Thoroughly review the Artist-in-Residence: New Artist guidelines and general NDCA guidelines.
     
  2. Complete required application forms and other necessary paperwork.
     

  3. Mail the entire package by the postmark deadline date to:

    North Dakota Council on the Arts
    1600 East Century Avenue, Suite 6
    Bismarck, ND 58503
