Costume Bank

In October 1997, the North Dakota Council on the Arts responded to requests made by theatre directors to improve access to theatrical costumes. The Council coordinated the Costume Bank program to provide North Dakota school and community theatre groups access to theatrical costumes. The Costume Bank is a collection of costumes, productions and contact names.

Schools and community groups can use this list to obtain costumes. Entities making the transfer of costumes will negotiate their own terms. This may include the discussion of the dates, rental and/or shipping costs, alterations, and the care of costumes. The Council on the Arts maintains only the Costume Bank information. There is no guarantee that the information below is current.

If your theatre department or company has costumes to share in the Costume Bank, please contact the Council on the Arts at lehreth@nd.gov or call 701-328-7593.
