10th Annual Fargo Film Festival
The Fargo Film Festival which takes place March 2-6, 2009, is currently accepting submissions and searching the globe and in their "own backyard" for the most creative, innovative, provocative and entertaining independent film and filmmakers. Submissions are arriving daily for the 2010 Fargo Film Festival. If you are a moviemaker seeking an opportunity to have your work judged for competition in North Dakota’s premier film festival, complete an entry form and send us your work. SUPERFEST International Disability Film Festival Calls for Entries
SUPERFEST, the world's longest-running juried international disability film festival, is seeking your entry for submission to our 2010 film competition. SUPERFEST is the primary international showcase for innovative films that portray disability culture and experience in all its diverse, complex, and empowering facets. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Work must be on the subject of disability. Work must have been produced within the last 11 calendar years (since January 1, 1999 for entry in Superfest 2010.) Entries for Superfest 2010 must be postmarked by *January 15th, 2010*, no exceptions. All submissions must be in NTSC DVD Region 1 format. Foreign films must be subtitled in English. Send 2 copies of your film to assist with the judging process. FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE: *January 15, 2010 (post-marked). *Early-bird discount if mailed by December 5, 2009. Judging will take place in Spring 2010, and winners will be announced on or around April 1st, 2010. Winners will be screened in Berkeley in June 2010, and all entries will be listed in the festival catalog. Winners will be asked to provide still production photos and film copies for publicity purposes. Superfest strongly encourages filmmakers to provide captioning and audio description so that films are accessible to the widest possible audience.
