NDCA, along with the offices of Governor Jack Dalrymple, First Lady Betsy Dalrymple, and Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem, will exhibit the works of the 2014 Governor’s Photo Contest winners at the Capitol Building in Bismarck during the months of October, November and December. Their works will be on display in the Governor’s ground floor and first floor offices, the First Lady’s fourth floor office, and the Attorney General’s first floor office. Canvas displays were printed and sponsored in part by Mathison’s. First Lady Betsy Dalrymple will unveil the winning photos from the 11th annual Governor’s Photo Contest on October 8 at 2 p.m. in the Great Hall of the North Dakota State Capitol building. Joining the First Lady will be North Dakota Tourism Director Sara Otte Coleman, NDCA Executive Director Beth Klingenstein, and Gene LaDoucer AAA Senior Public Affairs Representative. The winning photographers will also be in attendance. This exhibit is part of an ongoing program between the NDCA and the offices of the Governor and First Lady. Artists looking to represent their region with art work placed in the offices of the governor and first lady can submit a brief resume along with photographs or slides of their work to the North Dakota Council on the Arts, 1600 East Century Avenue, Suite 6, Bismarck, ND 58503. Artists are selected for quarterly display.
