About the North Dakota Council on the Arts NDCA Long Range/Strategic Plan for current and future goals
The Council's Board of Directors is currently composed of nine voting members appointed by Governor John Hoeven and one ex-officio member, First Lady Mikey Hoeven. The current Chairman of the Board is David "White Thunder" Trottier of Rugby, North Dakota. Support for the Council comes primarily from two sources - the North Dakota State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. The Council also is responsible for the North Dakota Cultural Endowment and has the authority to use interest from the fund for arts related activities.
