NDDOT Selected for Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Program

U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao announced, on May 9th, that the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) has been selected as one of 10 participants in the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Integration Pilot Program, an initiative aimed at shaping the future of drones in America.

Flags to be Flown at Half-Staff

In observance of Memorial Day, Governor Doug Burgum has directed all government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff on Monday until noon, and encourages North Dakotans to do the same at their homes and businesses.

Governor's Photo Contest

Governor Doug Burgum and the North Dakota Tourism Division, in partnership with AAA of North Dakota and North Dakota Council on the Arts, are holding the 2018 Governor's Photo Contest. All North Dakota photographers are encouraged to submit photos that capture the unique things to see and do in the state. Deadline for entry is August 31, 2018.
